Whatever you think for a first trip. I might not have a full day to myself to fish the lower rapid like I'd really like to. Reading up it seems like way more options than I'll come close to fishing in a week.

Awesome area. I am not much of a pond guy, but you cant beat the east outlet, roach and moose. All are very accessible, and should be full of life. You can also spin up to the west branch for an evening, sounds like the caddis are popping like crazy lately. On the old Ffo website, theirs some gat intel on the east oulet. I'll try to find the link for you.

You mentioned you liked the Mad River by WV. Are there really fish there?

Did you make it down to Florida? Lakes Region fishing has been insane!

TGIF thanks for the info your advise paid off. We could not get into the rapid river from the lake because of the winds. We did canoe into sunday cove and walk into the river as you mentioned in your PM. What a hike and river.
