Nada!! Got into some stocked rainbows over on the exeter river right below the dam but im sure the insane water levels have pushed them downstream. The cocheco hasnt been hit quite so hard, thinking about going over there tommorow. Hit me up when you guys are going out, im game. hopefully the flows come down next week and the state starts stocking the crap out of the local rivers...

haha...thanks for the compliment on my casting SaltyFly13. You can fish with me anytime.

The rod is a Sage Flight 5wt that I'm desperately trying to retire. I've had a mercurial love/hate relationship with it...my first rod. I'm waiting on a 9' 4wt Dan Craft Sig V blank that Mr. Craft has had a few delays in delivering. The 2wt I wrapped was my "test" build.

We'll have to find time soon to get out onto the water together. I'm a stay at home dad for a 17 month old beauty who spent most of last summer on my back at Archery Pond while I started to learn to cast. That said...while I do get a fair amount of time on the water...wading rivers requires my wife to be home to babysit.

    See ya on the water,

Ah...that was you. With the beard, right? Thought it might have been...but I'm the shy, anti-social type.

    SaltyFly,

I'd love to tie any time. Sounds like you've been tying for a while? You should really consider coming to Manchester this Thursday at 7:30 to catch the Manchester Fly Fishing Assoc meeting. Last month, 25 people showed up, ten of whom brought vices to share ideas...and drink beers from the bar at the place we meet.

Which outdoor store to you manager? When I'm not being a stay at home dad...I work a day or two a week at EMS.

    RJ,

Nice to see you on here. I met you at the Lamprey on Sat. Did you end up with any fish after I left???

    Salty,

I was fishing a sz 18 bead headed pheasant tail nymph. I doubt it made any difference...but the bead was brass color, not gold. It's the color I had when I tied it up that morning. It was rigged about 24" below a small thingamabobber strike indicator.
