    If you are willing to get up early you can usually find fish rising just above first bridge along the Rip rap. If you walk upstream there is a rock sticking out of the water and the fish tend to set up there and rise right below the rock. The wading in that section is fairly simple. The Ellis can be a tougher river in regards to wading but with the oncomming heat might be the only bet, at least later in the day. If you drive up to the covered bridge in Jackson you can get into fish without getting into the water much, there is a riffle above the bridge and a pool below the bridge that hold fish. Stop by North Country Angler on your way through town and we can give you more detailed information.
