If there is anything you need let me know. I still have quite a bit of inventory left from my shop and can spare some hooks and materials for a soldier.

I am a CRTT Respiratory Therapist at the White River Junction VA. I may run intro you some day at the VA if not on the water.

    Tight lines!

On the muddlers I meant to say white or yellow Maribou muddlers. You could also tie some conehead muddlers, too. (I am terrible at spinning and trimming deer hair, so these are one of the few patterns I get "store-bought".) Gerry

    Warren,
Streamer sizes: extra long size 4, 6 and 8 should do it.

    thanks,

I look forward to getting back to the Northeast. I am originally from Maine, but I grew up in a Military family and then joined the Army in 1986 so I haven't really ever fished in New England. I will be working in Concord.

I should be able to tie those patterns. quick question on the streamers... what sizes?

THanks again and I look forward to seeing you on the water

    Tight lines

    Warren,
Welcome to NH. As far as flies to tie, here are a few:
Adams or Parachute Adams from size 12 to size 20
hexagenia (size 8 dry fly hook, cream/yellow dubbing, tan antron tail, tied parachute-style)
    Alder fly wet and dry
Salmon patterns: gray ghost, black ghost (my favorite), and white or yellow muddler minnow
Also some rusty spinners in size 10, 12 and 14
Don't forget some beadhead phesant-tail nymphs in various sizes.
Also some caddis larva, green is the best color, but also cream colored.
If you need help with anny of these patterns, let me know.
I would be happy to take you fishing next spring.
    Thanks for your service,
    Gerry
