The teton reels are awesome for the price. I own quite a few. I've used them on bass, trout, pike and even bonefish in Mexico.

New Hampshire used to stock them but they stopped quite a few years ago. As far as I know Massachusetts is the only state in New England that stocks them on a large scale.

It can be a circus. Like someone said a cold rainy day will reduce the number of people. Make it a cold rainy work day... that's a recipe to have a place to yourself. I do enjoy float tubing...

I like to use those forked fins by Outcast. They're pricey but I think they're pretty swell especially if you're covering a lot of water.
