Default Spring Salmon - trying to get some action on this board

I'm usually a lurker, mostly because people seem to have a lot of agendas on this board. So perhaps this might start a 'spot burn' controversy - but where are the top places for someone to try their hand at Salmon in Spring? No need for secret spots but tips on general fishing for someone like me who is new to the idea. The window of time that that fishing is hot when smelt run really makes it hard for us weekend warriors to get involved.

Alton Bay - kayak in the bay, fish with live smelts past the bridge, FFO in the Merry Meeting River. Can be both Crowded and Social. Best place to swap tales. Docks are in terrible disrepair, only a matter of time before the state blocks access though they bought the land. Boat ramp. Easy access.

Upper Connecticut
Androscoggin

Winnipisaukee River - I have never fished this.

Downtown Meredith - also never fished this area.

Wolfeboro Bay Public Landing- Seen Rainbows and Salmon caught. Folks also kayak here. Parking and easy access, handicap accessible, chairs OK.

Newfound River in Bristol. Also no experience.

The Winnipesaukee River is easily accessible but gets very crowded, action can be very good though.

I attempted the Bear Camp and Ossipee River Dam this weekend. Didn't see a single fish.
