Would contacting the local Trout Unlimited and seeing if they can leverage their weight to get the authorities to act, be a good idea?

this is also on the ellis 200 yds up from the dam and hwy 16 )He made himself a gravel beach to boot . If you fish there be careful the water is very deep and treacherous .


There is another one further up river that seems to have been there quite some .

authorities did zip ..nada ..nothing ...regarding the situation ....

I did my part ...guess stream health is not a priority ....

Of course they didn't. Sadly, they don't have the manpower or money to care. We'll never win this battle. If i were you i'd carefully knock it down (being careful not to make the situation worse changing currents etc. and being careful not to get shot in the process).

We've all kicked our fair share of these but people never learn. What's always disappointed me is if they spent 10 minutes exploring they'd find their own nature created swimming hole somewhere else....
