Default Rod ID

I was cruising one of the local junk shops the other day and saw a rod much like the one pictured below. It is the rod case that I found interesting. The rod rested in grooves on the outside of the tube and then slid into a canvas sock. There weren't any manufacturers marks on the rod or the case. There was a cardboard box with about a dozen rods in it. I'm wondering if it's worth going back to get it. All the rods would need to be refurbished or used for parts. The most interesting one had small rings on it instead of a normal guide for the line.

It looks like an old (1900-1920?) bamboo rod, probably a bait rod not a fly rod.
