I just released v0.8 tonight. It fixes some issues caused when pressing the back button during the loading screen. After fighting to get it to work correctly I found that the only solution was to disable it. The home button still works while loading though.

I've begun working on 'offline' mode. If your phone doesn't have a connection I'll load the last report downloaded. This should also fix the cases where you re-open the app after some time and see the 'No Data' message. I should be releasing this update soon.

No problem. I've been hunting and fishing as long as I can remember. It's nice to be able to work on apps that I find useful myself =)

I released v1.0 tonight. From the change log:

v1.0 - New Features: Reports are now cached (after initial download) and available without the need for a connection. To download a new report, click the menu button on your device then click refresh. On load, the application defaults to your cached report.

This version needs a needs an extra permission to write the the sdcard (saving latest report). Let me know if you have any questions. Hope you like it!

I've got some info on a new release I'm looking to push in the next few days:

v1.1 will contain status bar notifications when new stocking reports have been pushed by the state. I've also updated the loading stage to allow you to use the app (with cached reports) while new data is downloaded and parsed. I still have some more testing to do, and I'd like to add an option in the menu area to disable & re-enable the status bar feature before I release it. I'll keep you updated!

I had some free time today and finished it up! v1.1 is out with the features I listed in my last posting. If you click the menu button on the home screen you'll see the toggle to turn off/on the alert feature (it's on by default). Hope you like it!

This sounds great, is there any way to get it to work on an iphone?

Yeah, I'm planning on getting it ported over. Apple is a bit of a pain to deal with as a developer. They require use to have a Mac in order to upload apps (my wife has an older one so I may be alright there), and a $100/yr fee to use the app store (even if the apps you push are free). So for the iPhone version, I may have to charge a buck for the app to cover the expenses...

I'm starting the Fishing NH iPhone version this week (tonight hopefully). I'll start a new thread later this week to keep you updated with the progress. I don't expect it to take take too long to finish the initial release (android version took ~8 hours).

I just released v1.2. It contains all the past reports for 2012 found in the PDFs released by the state. You'll now see all the stocking information for 2012.

I'm planning on starting a second Fishing NH app that'll contains a lot more than just the stocking reports. It'll have depth charts, derby info, landing info, species info, season info, flow charts (if I can find them), etc. The plan is to release it on the market for 2 bucks with no ads & lifetime updates. I'll continue to keep the original free app active and up-to-date too.
