With this nasty heat wave you would think the water inshore would be warming up but looking at this map shows that the cool water is inshore, the warm water is offshore and up in maine! Bug brought this to my atention the other day.

Those maine guys should not be hogging all the warm water! Aren't they satisfied with great trout fishing? now they have to mess with our Striper fishing to
But from the look of the map the warm water is not to far off shore. The Tuna reports should be rolling in soon. I got my rod 50% conplete, but cannot go any further until the Temp\Humidty comes down. I want to make sure everything has cured properly and stays attached when it does battle with its first Tuna!
