Can anyone recommend a spot on the NH coast where I can take my 9 yr old son to do some...bait chucking (shudder) for schoolies this weekend?
Thanks.

low... mail sent... keep an eye out for the enclosure... I think it may have been a finger...having trouble remembering which one
Rick... I'd offer you some advice but I've been fishing elsewhere for the past couple weeks. Things have changed drastically in that short amount of time too. Bait is dumping out of the estuaries and rivers... ocean is cooling down. Migration time is almost here which means fish out front. Usually a lot of schoolies in the Hampton marsh...anywhere really...but I think that's just about over. For me it is anyway. The Piscataqua still has fish i it but I wouldn't expect too much action.

Bug, I be watching for that mail
The begining of the end has started!!!! But the best fishing is yet to come
I would try the Northern Corner of hampton beach where all the rocks are. Always seems to be birds/bait working in the fall. Also the Pisquaqua has had better reports lattely. The Mouth of the Merrimack on the MA side is always a good bet and easy to fish. I will PM you a spot that is a Gurantee fish getter on the Pisquatqa.
Mike
I was going to try both spots...one that lowall sent and one from Bug...but lowall sent directions...so we tried the Piscataqua.
Fished from 3hrs before high tide to 1 hr after.....and managed 1 20"fish. He was fun to catch...wish there had been more...
Thanks again . 8)

Thats Why They Call It Fishing! The local reports were grim for the weekend. (Not as grim as mine though, Working!)
Technically you caught a Keeper per ME regs. And not A schoolie
That spot is worth another spot . It usually does produce on a droping tide.
If you want I can take you guys out in my boat in 2 weeks. Will be more Fish around then you can Handle out There!
PM if you are interested
Mike
