The other post was so "hot" I thought it best to do a new post.
Just to get everyone up to speed:
I went to the Pemi TU meeting last night. Pitched the idea of working to improve and foster a quality fishery on the Pemi river below Ayers Island dam in Bristol. It was well recieved and has their support.
So now I am in process to start drafting an action plan. If anyone is interested in participating and has expertise, contacts, etc or wants to help withl etter writing when the time comes i would love to hear from you. May not be able to implement or use every idea but thoughts/opinions are appreciated. First order of business is to see if the water/habitat is conducive.
I'll try to keep folks posted. ANYONE who lives in the plymouth/upper lakes region/white Mtn foothills who wants to get involved with the Pemi TU chapter I would invite you to check us out. Hoping to get some new blood (like me!!!). We meet every 3rd Tue at 7 pm at the Common Man in Plymouth.
PM me if you want more info. Need someone with computer expertise who would be willing to do a web site for us/be web master!!!
