Salmon Falls Headwaters

Good news. As you may have read, approximately 800 acres including 2 miles of shoreline along the pristine headwaters of the salmon falls river will be preserved. This includes Jones Brook a tributary of the Branch River which flows into the Salmon Falls River. The importance of protecting lands such as this from development and paving over has been stated many times on this forum. For details see Fosters, Nov 30th, page B-1

I was down in that area a couple years ago. It certainly looks worth preserving.
