I haven't used this boat in years. I think it is time for it to find a new home. I may post it on Craig's list or on Ebay ... but, I'll start here.
The Mad River Canoe company started in Vermont in the early seventies. At the time, they were one of the highest quality canoes available anywhere. I purchased this canoe on April 18th, 1990. In the summer of 2000, I had new Ash rails installed at the factory in Vermont.
The Missisqoui is a square stern canoe. It is pretty short, and wide as canoe's go. It was marketed as a fishing and duck hunting platform. It is pretty stable.
I am looking to get $700.00 for the canoe, two wood paddles, and the foam block roof thingies, and whatever tie downs I have. I also have two US Coast Guard PFD's (those ugly orange ones) I'll include. You'll be already to go.
Send me a private message if you have questions, or are interested.
