I’m selling these individually for my dad. I’m trying the fly fishing forums that I can think of/find before I go to ebay. Hopefully there will be some interest here so someone can and will appreciate these the way they should be…

Both of these rods were custom hand built by my dad in the late 90’s/early 2000’s from factory blanks. He’s been building rods for 25 years now, and has recently begun teaching small groups of people on how to build rods from kits, so he knows what he's doing.

All of the rods have been fished over the past few years, so they’re not brand new, but they have always been well taken care of. The cork on all of the rod handles still feels soft and is in good shape. There may be a few small blemishes on the finish but performance wise, they’re in great shape.

He has reached the point where he’s not fishing these rods anymore, and wants to sell them to get some other gear.

First up:
Powell 2pc, 9’, 5wt, green with green wraps.
Rose/nickel uplocking Struble reel seat, H&H guides, Fuji stripper guide, modified half wells/western grip.
Includes sock and Powell tube. Note the tube has a few scratches on it, but the point of the tube is to protect the rod, so it has done its job...
Both of us have fished this rod, and both of us felt that it has a very soft feel to it, but it’s nice to fish dry flies with it.
$150 b/o

And last:
Scott 2pc, STS905, 9’, 5wt, flat black with grey wraps
Cocobola/black uplocking Struble reel seat, nickel check ring, H&H guides, Fuji stripper guide, western grip.
I haven’t fished this rod, but I was surprised at how soft it felt. When I first picked it up, it looked like it was going to be a club, but I would put this more in the medium flex category.
$125 b/o

I have a bunch of pictures for each rod available, just drop me a line and I’ll send them out to you since I haven’t been able to figure out how to post them.

I’m also very flexible on shipping/delivery- just let me know your preference and we’ll work something out.
