This is still for sale, I had a buyer who I held it for at the end of the summer who never showed up so back to storage it went. I just pulled it down yesterday and back on the market she goes. Need some room---raft coming soon!

Hi Rick,
I may be interested in the pontoon boat. Do you know if it is possible to outfit this pontoon boat with an anchor set-up or do you have to have a metal rear cargo deck in order to put an anchor on?

I checked the website and found that they do offer an anchor system for the South Fork pontoon boats:
http://www.bucksbags.com/cm_item.asp?id=241

I just used a small float tube anchor and tied off on the side rail. I ran the line inside the storage compartment on the top of the left pontoon.

There is not a metal rack in the back, it is a mesh rack that can hold a cooler or a crate or soft bag. They do offer a metal rack accessory. I tried to keep it light.

Thanks for the info Rick. One more quick question - what year did you purchase the boat (what model year is it)?
Cheers,
Erik

I have had it for about 5 years but it has not seen much water in the past 2. I bought two of them 5 years ago and really only used one. I sold the other one 2 years ago and rigged this one up and I used it along with my float tubes but this one literally hasn't been on the water more than a dozen times, if that. I started using kayaks along with the float tubes last year so this one never got wet.
It is in perfect condition and pontoons (which have an inside bladder) are like new.
I have it all put together and ready to go if you want to look at it.

Last call- I can't hide it from my wife any more in the barn. Any takers at $350?

Cleaned out the barn this past weekend and my wife saw the SouthFork and asked "I thought you sold that? Wasn't that part of the deal with getting a new boat?" So I have been caught. That being said, the price is now best offer. Any interest? It never left the barn this year.

Finally sold, in the dead of winter! Had more interest in the last 2 weeks than I did during the whole season...who would have figured. Thanks Sean K.... you will enjoy the time spent on the water in this boat.
