Saco Valley Anglers Trout Unlimited will be hosting their annual auction May 1st. This year’s auction will be held at Sammy’s Restaurant in Tamworth, NH. The doors will open at 6:30 P. M. for the auction preview and cocktail hour. Auction will begin at 7:30.
Cost per ticket is just $20. Sammy’s will be serving a selection of hot and cold hors d’ oeuvres and of course there will be an open bar.
As always we have a great selection of auction items. There will be several guide trips, including a drift boat trip on the Androscoggin River. We have several Teton reels up for auction this year and several Diamondback rods. We also have a large collection of angling books. Other items include fly tying materials, fly lines and lots of other assorted fly fishing gear and related items.
Saco Valley Anglers is well known for its stocking program on the Saco River. This year we have been awarded an Embrace a Stream grant form National TU for stream restoration in a joint effort with Tin Mountain. WE also support the New Hampshire TU Trout Camp, award a scholarship at Kennett High School and support a Trout in the Classroom project. Please come and enjoy an evening of renewing old acquaintances and help support some great causes.
