How about a salt water fly swap? I'll offer to oversee it and we'll follow the guidelines posted in the fly tying forum. Let's see how many people want to participate in this, and that will determine how many flies we tie, with a cut off of 12 people. Flies should be sent to me by Feb. 24. I'll make the initial post here in the saltwater section and then move it over to the fly tying section. I'll tie up come Snake flies.

I haven't done a swap for quite a while. I'm in. I could do a set of one of these;

Those are some nice looking flies!

I guess nobody ties big sloppy flies on 4/0 hooks around here :wink:
:?: No further interest in this one? Is this going to be a go? If there are only three or four of us I'll do two flies for each participant (2/0 Ray's Bucktails (killer in early season discolored water. Middle blue flies in the photo) and a 4/0 Buffy in the flavor of your choice. Big flies on the bottom.) :?:

I need an address to mail the flies. I'll be heading for warmer climes for a week come Thursday and will need to get the goods in the mail before I leave if I'm going to make the 2/24 deadline.

Send me a PM and I'll send you my mailing address.

Any news on the swap? Once I get the flies I'll take a photo and post it with pattern names and tiers. The tiers can then post comments and pattern directions if they'd like.
