    Thanks, Trout Bum for the info you posted. I have , in fact, taken the Croyden Turnpike road twice. The topo map indicates a camp perhaps 3/4 of a mile out with a 4WD trail next to it. The deer hunters had just got there. I talked with them and they indicated that Chase Pond was on the other side of the road about 2 miles away. Now, I am not THAT bad of a map reader, and they are wrong, it's right behind their camp, I think. Only because there is a teeny brook next to the camp, that I am sure is from Chase.
    I have been out to Leavitt twice from this side, and is a nice pond from either side I hiked in on. Still can't find that cemetary you mentioned.
    But you have a very good idea about contacting the snowmobile club. Why I didn't think of it, because their signs are all over the place.
