Default White mountain streams?

Hey guys, I'm hoping some of you can tell me if I'm on the right track here.

The quick and dirty is that I live in CT but my inlaws live in Haverhill, NH and I'm up there a ton every fall upland hunting. This year I really started to get into fly fishing and thought a few days of camping and fishing for wild brookies would be a blast.

I'm looking at a few of the less accessible streams on the east slope of Mt. Moosilauke (happy to discuss which via PM). What I'm wondering is if they'll have enough water and be cold enough to be fishable this time of year.
Also will typical stimulators, Adams, caddis work?

Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks,
Pat

They will be plenty cold by upland bird season. Probably too cold for dry flies. Unless it gets really warm

Sorry, I should have specified. I'm going to be up there tomorrow.

Had some good rain - up to an inch - yesterday. The water is plenty cold - supposed to be windy today though.

I spent the last two days exploring the Baker River North of the Ravine lodge and while a beautiful spot, it's much tighter fishing than I'm used to. After getting hailed on last night I just pulled out of the woods and I'm heading over to the ammonoosuc river near Littleton to try there.

Staying in a warm dry bed at my inlaws tonight lol.
