Default The Dry River?

For years I've been wondering about fishing it.
I've backpacked a loop on occasion up and around the Presidentials using that trailhead and have thought back on the water.
As memory serves there are some pretty deep pools and a ways up the canyon is very high keeping things nice and cool.
I'm thinking some brookies may just thrive in some of those big old pools.
Anyway--its on my list this year.

Have any of you folks ventured in there with a fly rod?

I have also been wondering the same thing. Anything worth while besides the scenery?

It can be a real nice cardio-vascular work out.
Why I remember after the big ice storm of the late nineties (98 mebbe), up on top it was a chore to get through, before the trail volunteers got to it.
I've found brook trout in less likely places--but there are some significant pools way up. Way up a ways in the steeps.
On second thought, maybe there isn't enough oxygen up so high.
