Default Spinner Reel on a Fly Rod ?

Hey everybody. So I have a 5wt 8'6" mid-flex fly rod and was looking for a cheap high performance spinning reel that would fit onto this rod. It seems that most traditional spinner reels have a larger reel seat, so would I need to do some improvising with a metal grinder or is there a certain brand (or model) that makes compatible reels? I basically just want to fish with a single rod and have both the fly reel and the spinning reel handy. Any suggestions?

I know that there are a few "combo" rods and reels out there. A ultralight spinning reel should fit a fly rod. If not, just file it down
